Diwa Tierra is a regenerative eco retreat center currently in development on twenty acres of fertile land in Andalucía, southern Spain, It is designed as a long-term, multi-functional retreat and community center grounded in permaculture principles, ecological design, and the conviction that land can be both economically productive and deeply restorative.
The project draws on over a decade of operational experience through Surfer Goddess Retreats in Nosara, Costa Rica, and the Diwa Tierra Retreat at Rancho Mastatal two established programs that fund and inform the development of the Andalucía sanctuary. What began as a vision is now a structure, land acquired, infrastructure in development, and a clear model for how this sanctuary will sustain itself for generations.
Diwa Tierra is built for the long arc. Every decision made here architectural, ecological, financial reflects that commitment. We are not building a retreat center. We are developing a regenerative ecosystem that happens to host world-class programs.
